Sumlang Lake starts Promoting Phase
The long sleep of the municipality of Camalig has finally ended. After six years of developing the sleeping beauty, it has now many astounding tourist spots that can be found all over the place. Camalig is now on its promoting phase staring the word of the mouth tourist destination, the Sumlang Lake located at Sumlang Camalig Albay.
Sumlang Lake is primarily not considered as a tourist spot but a source of livelihood by the people living near the area. It was then bought and developed by a private individual through the coordination of barangay council of Sumlang. Through this, they tried to develop the place and turned the sleeping beauty to the awakening one.
Lily pads were removed, benches were added, rafts with handicrapped designed tables and chairs are build and they also added shade at the lake for those who want to chill while rafting.

If you’re adventurous and looking for a tougher activity, the Kayak a small banana boat- like stirred by double bladed paddle is best for you.
